Canoeing & Kayaking-The Black River is rated one of the top white water kayaking areas in the nation. On the third Saturday of every month from April to September, area flow gates are opened. Be there for a great run!

• We are located by 320,000 acres of public hunting land in Clark and Jackson Counties.
• Just minutes away from Lake Arbutus, 835 acre lake, which offers many recreational activities.
• For the fisherman, Lake Arbutus is home for Walleye, Northern Pike, Muskie, Crappie and Bass.
• Open water or ice fishing: Lake Arbutus and The Black River offer great fishing opportunities along with surrounding lakes and rivers located in Clark and Jackson Counties.
• ATV/Snowmobiling: Over 235 miles of ATV and Snowmobile trails to enjoy!
• Hiking, Mountain Biking, Cross Country Skiing and Snow Shoeing: Levis/Trow Mound offers 15 miles of groomed trails and an additional 19 miles of back country routes, for a total of 34 miles of trails to enjoy. Trails are closed during Wisconsin Deer Hunting Season.
• Downhill Skiing, Snow Boarding and Tubing: Bruce Mound Recreational Area offers a variety of runs from beginner to advanced or enjoy the tubing area. Warm up in the new chalet built in 2007.

We will also assist you in obtaining additional information on area lodging, camping, hiking, mountain biking, ATV /snowmobile trails, Skiing and horseback riding trails throughout Jackson and Clark Counties.
